My family and I went to the beach and stopped for a bite to eat at this restaurant. This specific scene caught my eye, as the neon menu strobed the days specials while the off-season Christmas ornaments brushed against the fish-netting and other ocean paraphernalia. |
I was at one of my first real concerts to see Passion Pit. One of the opening bands was this group from Brooklyn called BRAHMS. I snapped a picture of Lyle Lodwick while he sang the song "Subtext is Deadly". He's in fact quite a famous fashion model. |
One of my favorite animals in the world has always been the Deer. I've always been fond of Rudolph as well, just because he's really really adorable and the story made me so happy when I was a little kid. I got this toy for Christmas one year. His nose has a little cap on it that you can take off to reveal his bright red nose that shines when you push his tail down. The toy collar I gave him was actually a belt buckle for a vintage Barbie. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite pictures, just because it reminds me of my childhood and I think it's just so adorable. |
My mom and I were at her doctors office when we pulled into the parking lot. This was there to give you a ticket, to park. I literally jumped out of the car to take this picture. To me, this just screams so loudly in my ear. It's talking about our society right now, about how we know things are old and broken but we just don't have enough to fix them right now. They're still working, they're still functioning. We don't need to replace what we can't afford to replace. Don't fix what's not broken. Oh, and the secretary at the doctors office used a typewriter. |
